More Questions than Answers from Forest Hills School District – Financial Accountability

Over the past several years I have been analyzing public financial information regarding the Forest Hills School District. I took the initiative to meet with the district treasurer and ask a series of questions. I used these questions and public information to create several educational videos on district finances that I made available to the community during Forest Hills’ most recent levy campaign. The chart above is an example used to ask the district why does salary and benefits continue to increase while district educated enrollment decreases?

Before I announced I was running for the school board, supporters of the property tax levy filed a complaint about these videos and presentations with the Ohio Election Commission. I was unanimously exonerated of the allegations by the bipartisan commission board.

Despite this attempted intimidation, my resolve has not wavered. I am fully committed to the success of the Forest Hills School District.
