Elect

KENNETH
KUHN

for the Forest Hills School Board

Kuhn & Comerford - Meet & Greet

October 3, 2023

  • Handing your child their diploma knowing that they are prepared for life as critical thinkers, problem solvers and prepared to take on the many challenges of life.
  • Attracting and retaining high quality teachers.
  • Being stewards of the taxpayer investments in the Forest Hills School District.
  • You, the PARENT, and making sure YOU play an integral role in YOUR child’s future education.

The Business of Education is our ONLY agenda

Kenneth Kuhn

I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Kenneth Kuhn, and I will be on the ballot this November 7th, running for one of two open seats on the Forest Hills School Board of Education.

I grew up in the Mt. Washington area and attended Walnut Hills High School, graduating in 1982. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, I decided Anderson Township was where I wanted to raise my future family. With my wife Lori, a Turpin alum and past public-school teacher, we have lived in the township for over 35 years. Along with our two children, extended family, and many valued friends, we have grown to greatly love and appreciate the tight-knit community we are proud to call home.

It is the appreciation for what Anderson Township has given my family that I have chosen to run for a board seat in Forest Hills. I not only want to give back, but also want to see Forest Hills thrive, educationally and financially.

Who Is?

Kenneth Kuhn

Throughout my 31-year professional career, I have held several executive and board positions, specializing in risk management and insurance. Currently I am the CEO and President of a global start-up insurance company in the United States, in addition to being the board president of a 501C3 non-profit organization supporting a local fire department and the chair of my church’s investment committee. It is my financial background, experience and business acumen, coupled with my expertise in risk management, strategic planning, and budgeting that will enhance and build upon our current board’s accomplishments, leveraging all assets at the district’s disposal; physical, administrative, and monetary. Forest Hills is in every sense a $100 million + business and should be run like one, for the benefit of every student and taxpayer.

When elected, I commit to using my professional skill-sets to improve every child’s educational experience, best preparing them for a bright, rewarding future.

Leadership
& Vision

A primary tenet of leadership is TRUST. To build this trust, as a Forest Hills School Board candidate, I have three pillars of which I am passionate and committed to delivering:
    • Financial Accountability. Ensuring responsible stewardship of district resources and provide the entire F.H.’s community complete transparency of the district’s finances. This includes holding the Board, Superintendent and Administration accountable for every existing asset and taxpayer dollar.
    • Parental Confidence in Education. Alleviating the concerns many parents have regarding students’ exposure to controversial issues. Ensuring parents become empowered partners in their children’s education.
    • Policy Enforcement. Adhering to current district policies and procedures ensures all students and staff are afforded a safe and stable learning and work environment, free of bullying and unproductive distractions.

Olivia Krolczyk on X:

“Jason Simmons, currently running for School Board in Ohio, fails to recognize that males and females are biologically different. This plays into why students are being indoctrinated each and every day. People like him are working to silence women and take away their sports and single-sex spaces”
